Composer Adi Hila May Be Questioned Over Intimate Video Scandal Involving Artists: “I’m Shocked, the Cameras Were Hacked!” Police Will Also Examine the Footage Along With the IP Addresses From Which It Was Released

Tirana police are investigating the publication and widespread circulation on social media of multiple videos allegedly showing intimate moments involving composer Adrian Hila and several well-known artists. The composer himself has reportedly been summoned for questioning by the “Blues” authorities and is expected to give a statement once he recovers from his serious condition. Following this, showbiz journalist Elton Tozaj, who has claimed responsibility for publishing the videos, is also expected to be questioned.

Who released the videos allegedly showing intimate encounters between composer Adrian Hila and well-known figures from the Albanian music industry? Tirana police are seeking an answer to this question as part of an investigation launched after the footage began circulating across various online platforms and social media, particularly WhatsApp.

On Wednesday evening, Tirana police contacted Adrian Hila by phone and summoned him to the police department for questioning. According to Report TV, he said that he was shocked by the situation and that he would report to the police as soon as he arrived in Tirana. Sources close to him told Report TV that the composer categorically denied publicly releasing the videos and suspected that the camera system installed in his home had been hacked.

Because of the serious situation created for the people involved by the public reaction and offensive comments circulating on social media, police are waiting to hear statements from both the composer and the artists whenever they feel able to provide them. During the day on Wednesday, one of the artists involved was reportedly hospitalized urgently due to severe psychological distress.

Some of the intimate video footage has been posted on online pornographic websites. At least one of the clips had reportedly been posted on such sites as early as a year ago. However, the person who shared them on social media on Tuesday evening, September 29, and claimed responsibility for their publication, was showbiz journalist Elton Tozaj. The publication was particularly serious, as the identities of the women involved were not concealed, nor were their intimate areas blurred. Report TV learned that police have summoned journalist Tozaj for questioning, but this is expected to take place only after they have heard Adrian Hila’s statement.

The Cybercrime Investigation Department is identifying the IP addresses of the profiles from which the videos were shared. The camera system is also expected to be examined to determine whether it was accessed or interfered with by unauthorized individuals.

The alleged offenses include “unlawful acquisition of computer data,” “interference with computer data,” “unlawful interference with private life,” and “misuse of equipment.”

Unlawfully interfering with an individual’s private life, filming and publishing any aspect of their private life without their consent, and, more seriously, making such material public may constitute criminal offenses. The penalties can include a fine or imprisonment of up to three years.
