National Renewal Party Senator Camila Flores has filed a legal complaint against her ex-husband, Percy Marín. The action comes after security camera footage from their former shared home was released. The footage allegedly shows the senator engaging in an intimate relationship with another man.
“My ex-husband, in collusion with others, distributed my private images, which were obtained illegally and unlawfully. I have reported the matter to the authorities, and I hope it will be thoroughly investigated,” she said in a video posted on her X account.
She added, “It is unbelievable what hatred and a lack of understanding can lead to—not realizing that when someone simply no longer wants to be with another person and a relationship ends, it does not mean they have the right to destroy that person’s life.”

The release of Flores’ intimate images comes amid the leak of a divorce petition previously filed by Marín against the senator.
The congresswoman further stated, “A person, whether a man or a woman, is not anyone’s property and has every right to rebuild their life with whomever they choose, as often as they wish. He had no right to do this, because I did not owe explanations to him or to anyone else. This is my case, and undoubtedly many women are going through similar situations. I separated from him, I asked my ex-husband to leave the house, and I had no relationship with him whatsoever.”

The senator also revealed that “the court had in fact issued a restraining order due to the domestic violence he had committed against me. I filed a domestic violence complaint on December 15, the day he was forcibly removed from our shared home after refusing to leave.”
She concluded by emphasizing that the legal proceedings and the dissemination of her private images are matters that should be addressed through the appropriate judicial channels.
