Pat Kraft Audio Leak Twitter
On Thursday, December 4, an audio clip began circulating, featuring a voice that sounded suspiciously like Penn State Athletic Director Pat Kraft. In the clip, he could be heard speaking very openly with his team’s players, much like he would inside the locker room. And although his tone was fairly normal for an AD, what he said to them quickly grabbed people’s attention.

It sounded a lot like Kraft, and while everything seems to point in that direction, there has still been no official confirmation. The person in the audio was extremely honest in his assessment—about Penn State, several other teams around the country, and what he wants for the Penn State team. Even though it was likely the AD, without confirmation, fans can only speculate.
The alleged audio leak of the Penn State AD has been spreading across social media.
The leaked audio, believed by fans to be from Penn State administrator Pat Kraft, has gone viral on social media, leaving fans completely stunned. The person in the clip—who fans assume is Kraft—talked about recruiting struggles “in the middle of Pan-America” and was even heard calling Michigan “losers and cheaters,” referencing their recent sign-stealing scandal. From mocking the Oregon Ducks to calling the Ohio State team “the kings,” he had something to say about nearly everyone.

But what he said about his own team’s struggles is what convinced many people the audio might be genuine. Kraft was heard saying:
“I want to tell you this — I don’t know what the future holds. Terry is a legitimate, real, true candidate, I’m looking each of you in the eyes. If I don’t get this right? My career is over. Understand that. If I don’t hire the right person, my career is finished. So this is extremely serious to me. If I don’t get the right person, they’ll fire me and I’ll never get another AD job again. So I will do what is right for you and what is right for this program.”
Whether it was actually him, someone who just sounded like the AD, or even an AI-generated voice, fans still don’t know—especially with no official confirmation. For now, all fans can do is keep hitting replay and listening to the ongoing rant.
