On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Police Department’s homicide unit thoroughly searched singer D4vd’s home as they tried to connect Celeste Rivas Hernández to the property and the artist himself.

On Wednesday, the remains of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernández were discovered inside a Tesla at a tow yard in Hollywood.
Charles Latibeaudiere of TMZ told Banfield that police were looking for “evidence of blood.”
“They were checking the drains to see if there was any trace of blood or tissue in them,” he said. “So, they searched the home to find any such evidence.”
Police informed TMZ that the house was “about a block and a half” from where D4vd’s Tesla had been parked before it was towed.

“We know the Tesla is his,” Latibeaudiere said. “What’s still unclear is: who was actually driving the Tesla when the body was placed inside the car? Who parked it where it was eventually found and impounded? These are the dots that still need to be connected.”
A leaked song by D4vd mentions Hernández twice. According to Latibeaudiere, D4vd released a leaked track where Hernández’s name was referenced multiple times.
The track, leaked on SoundCloud in December 2023, was titled “celeste_demo unfin.”
In the song, the singer twice mentions “Celeste,” saying:
“Oh, Celeste / the girl with my name tattooed across her chest / she smells like cigarettes on my clothes // I hear her voice every time I breathe / I’m obsessed.”

In the next verse, D4vd is heard saying:
“Oh, Celeste / I’m afraid you’ll only love me when your clothes come off / but you look so pretty in that dress / missing you makes me feel depressed / but I turn away, because.”
“What’s clear is that they spent a lot of time together,” Latibeaudiere said.
Latibeaudiere admitted that no videos or photos of Hernández inside the home have surfaced. However, a livestream reappeared showing D4vd and Hernández speaking with the singer’s fans, along with a photo of the two at an event somewhere in Los Angeles in October 2023.

D4vd and the victim had similar tattoos on their fingers
According to police, both D4vd and Hernández shared the same tattoo.
“Police did say that she had this tattoo. She had one on her right index finger that read the letters ‘shhh…’,” Latibeaudiere earlier told NewsNation.
