Watch: Rael Enteen Commanders Video Leaked Twitter
The Commanders fired VP Ryan Entin after a controversial video comment about Roger Goodell.
On Wednesday, just hours after a video was released showing the Washington Vice President making derogatory remarks about NFL players, accusing them of being gay and other offensive comments, the Commanders fired executive Ryan Entin.
The Commanders, just days away from their season opener against the Buccaneers, confirmed to ESPN on Thursday via a spokesperson that Entin had been dismissed.
The decision to fire Entin came a day after the team initially suspended him for comments allegedly made during a secretly recorded video during a date with a journalist from O'Keefe Media Group.

In the nearly 11-minute video, posted Wednesday on the X account of O'Keefe Media Group's CEO, James O'Keefe, Entin was asked about his description of Commander players and responded, "More than 50 percent of our roster is either white evangelical — and God says 'f–k the gays' — and another large part is very low-income African Americans who come from a community that's inherently very gay."
Elsewhere in the clip, Entin referred to NFL fans as "high school-educated drunks" and "mouth breathers."
"Most fans, I'd say, are high school-educated drunks," he said.
When his companion responded, "So, they're like low-class people," Entin replied, "I hate to use that word; I would just say mouth breathers."
When the conversation turned to Roger Goodell, the former executive did not shy away from harsher words.
"He's a puppet, a $50 million puppet," Entin said in the footage.
Entin also called the league's social justice initiatives "performative."
"It wasn't done out of the goodness of their hearts and morality. It was done because George Floyd changed the game," he said in the video, which panned to Entin sitting at a table as the discussion continued.
"I mean to say that the social justice efforts are a performance for public perception and not because they actually want to push progress," he added.
The Commanders acknowledged the fallout in a statement to The Post's Ryan Glasspiegel on Wednesday.

"The language used in the video goes against the values of the Commanders organization. We have dismissed the employee pending an internal investigation and will reserve further comment at this time," the statement said.
According to ESPN, Entin had previously worked with the Jets before joining Washington.
