NYC Blanket Couple Twitter Video Original

The video of a couple engaging in 'intimate' activities under a blanket in Battery Park has sparked controversy.

A TikTok video shared on Twitter showed two individuals engaging in "unwanted public behavior" under a blanket. The footage, which showed Battery Park being busy at the time, was captioned "Trying to enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon in NYC…". The video has been viewed 51 million times. After posting on social media, several thousand comments expressed confusion about the whole situation.

One wrote: "Wait, so they just lifted the blanket and started living their life in a public park as if no one else was watching? Nothing happened?" Another wrote: "Why did I think this was some kind of performance art?"

Others are more outraged by the indecency of the incident. One X wrote on Twitter, "Idk I feel like people aren't taking the situation of the NYC blanket couple seriously enough for my liking. Having sex in a park in front of children is not okay."

Another wrote: "Did those people really have sex or what their relationship was is not clear." The mirror video has decided not to repost.

Assault is never a good idea, but one person decided that after confessing to his wife about their two-year sexual relationship, he had no other option. He admitted that the lack of sex in their marriage made it "dysfunctional" and acknowledged that he had now met other women for sex, insisting that he had only done what his wife had asked him to do. However, he is now fiercely debating whether it was a mistake.

The confused husband went to Reddit to ask others if he had made a mistake with his illicit relationship. Describing himself as "not overly attractive" but "fit and a good speaker," he added that he was able to see someone and their relationship "became physical."
